This Aural Rehabilitation Intervention Protocol was designed for adult cochlear implant users and encompasses the following areas:  Auditory Training, Informational Counseling, and Communication Strategies Training.

This protocol and guide provides an easy-to-use outline for clinicians to follow when implementing a short-term aural rehabilitation program.  Within these resources, you will find a training manual, weekly session plans, PowerPoint presentations, auditory training materials and software, along with strategies for communication and counseling. This rehabilitation intervention program can help your clients get the maximum benefit from their cochlear implant and improve communication in their everyday life.
